TL;DR

Sales Development Associate (ESG): Driving business growth by identifying and converting leads into sales opportunities with an accent on cold calling and strategic prospecting. Focus on conducting high-level discovery calls with Senior Executives and managing the full sales funnel via Salesforce.

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada

Salary: 65,000 – 75,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Own the full outreach motion via LinkedIn, email, and cold calling to drive company revenue.
  • Conduct high-level discovery and educational calls with Senior Executives in Sustainability and Procurement.
  • Qualify high-potential opportunities using MEDDPICC and schedule meetings for Account Executives.
  • Research target accounts and map key decision-makers aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Collaborate with Marketing and AEs to develop localized call strategies and targeted lead lists.
  • Manage all sales activity and performance tracking within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience or strong desire for high-volume cold calling and professional engagement with decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesloft.
  • Must be based in Toronto, Canada.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on data and conversion metrics.

Nice to have

  • Experience or natural curiosity for Sustainability, ESG, or CSR.
  • Experience using AI tooling such as Claude and Gemini.
