TL;DR

Manager, Starlink Local Growth (U.S.): Own U.S. local growth strategy accountable for subscriber growth across states and regions through partnerships, field marketing, local distribution, and community initiatives. Focus on building and leading distributed teams of regional growth leaders, designing scalable playbooks for market expansion, and scaling acquisition channels in rural, suburban, and underserved communities.

Location: Redmond, WA (must be available to work extended hours and travel 50-75% or more; ITAR: U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Salary: $135,000 - $185,000/year

What you will do

  • Own Starlink’s U.S. local growth strategy and subscriber growth across states and regions
  • Build, hire, and lead a distributed team of regional and state-level growth leaders
  • Design scalable playbooks for local market growth and customer acquisition models
  • Define priority markets and scale acquisition channels including partnerships with affiliates and local businesses
  • Oversee field marketing, events, grassroots initiatives, and partner pipeline development
  • Track growth metrics, ROI, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead market experimentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in growth, business development, sales, marketing, consulting, or operations; 2+ years direct people management
  • Available for extended hours and weekends; 50-75%+ travel to customer and hirify.global locations
  • ITAR eligibility: U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident (green card), refugee, or asylee

Nice to have

  • 8+ years experience; 3+ years building distributed teams from zero
  • Scaling local/regional growth teams in rideshare, marketplaces, telecom
  • Consumer tech, telecom, broadband, rural acquisition, field teams, partnerships
  • Product launches across markets, execution in ambiguity, analytical/ROI skills
