TL;DR

Location: Denver, CO (in-office 4 out of 5 days per week, up to 30% travel domestic and international)

Salary: $140,000 ‒ $185,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead, shape, and execute commercial sales strategy for Americas market, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, review proposals, and manage BD pipeline using CRM for long sales cycles (4-12 months).
  • Respond to RFPs, write proposals, and develop technical solutions for customer requirements.
  • Interface with customers on missions, collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Executive teams.
  • Manage BD team, monitor market trends, maintain market share, and contribute to strategy planning.
  • Report to VP of Business Development, negotiate goals, and represent company at meetings, conferences, and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business-related fields.
  • 8–12+ years in business development or commercial sales in aerospace, satellite communications, telecommunications, or adjacent industries.
  • Strong understanding of satellite communication technologies.
  • Demonstrated success selling into enterprise and commercial markets.
  • Proven ability to lead complex commercial negotiations.
  • In-office attendance in Denver, CO 4/5 days; up to 30% travel.

Nice to have

  • Background in selling managed connectivity solutions, bandwidth services, or network infrastructure.
