What you will do

• Implement DFT structures such as scan chains, boundary scan (JTAG), and Built-In Self-Test (BIST).
• Perform scan insertion and verification using industry-standard EDA tools.
• Develop scripts to automate DFT flows.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and physical design teams to ensure testability requirements are met.
• Analyze test coverage metrics including stuck-at, transition, and path delay faults.
• Debug DFT-related issues during simulation, synthesis, and post-silicon testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 1-2 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree in a related field.
• Understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with DFT concepts, ATPG, and fault models.
• Exposure to HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Fundamental knowledge of ASIC or SoC design flow.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Academic or internship experience in semiconductor design or testing.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Tcl, or Shell.
• Familiarity with EDA tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing test flows and yield analysis.
