What you will do

• Develop FPGA designs for new storage test and system test equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define FPGA specifications meeting product requirements
• Drive FPGA design from architecture through implementation, verification, and system integration
• Contribute to hardware design including device selection, pinout, and peripherals
• Support firmware and software during integration, board bring-up, and debugging with lab equipment

Requirements

• 5+ years of FPGA design, implementation, and verification experience
• Experience writing synthesizable Verilog for FPGA devices
• Experience with AMD (Xilinx) and/or Intel (Altera) tools, IP configuration, and timing constraints
• Proven Verilog modules for SerDes, PCIe, ADCs/DACs, DDR memory, USB, AXI4, I2C, SPI
• Build verification testbenches and environments; perform FPGA validation on hardware
• Understanding of schematics, digital circuits; effective communication across teams

Nice to have

• SystemVerilog for verification and UVM environments
• FPGA SoC devices and processor subsystems
• Basic TCL or Python scripting
• Revision control systems
• Control systems experience
