What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, taking ownership of scope, schedule, cost, and quality outcomes.
• Coordinate and maintain effective resource planning across the IT group using internal management tools.
• Develop project approaches, estimates, and risk assessments to meet corporate and contract objectives.
• Lead steering committee meetings, gate reviews, and progress updates for stakeholders and customers.
• Manage contract variations, scope changes, and ensure strict compliance with company policies and legislation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in managing Information Technology (IT) projects.
• Strong understanding of the IT project lifecycle and project management best practices.
• Must hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level.
• Proven ability to lead teams, foster cooperation, and produce comprehensive project documentation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, IT, or Business (Desirable).

Nice to have

• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Post-Graduate Qualifications in Project Management.
• Project Management Certification through AIPM or an equivalent institution.
