Manager, Internal Audit

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Stamford, CT (two days per week in office), occasional travel (~20%).

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead SOX program areas including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and reporting.
• Perform walkthroughs, document processes, risks, controls, and technologies.
• Review workpapers and assess control design and operating effectiveness.
• Draft and deliver audit results with timely feedback to stakeholders.
• Conduct audits, ad-hoc projects, and manage multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with external auditors, co-sourced partners, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT or related; advanced degree a plus.
• CIA or CPA required.
• 7+ years in auditing/compliance, including SOX management.
• Experience managing co-sourced resources and audit teams.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, financial reporting, risk frameworks.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP (NetSuite), GRC platforms, Audit Board.
• Healthcare industry experience.
