Salary: $155,000 - $195,000

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end analysis and execution of state-level rate changes and new program launches.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Product Management to influence profit and growth levers.
- Perform actuarial indications and profitability studies to evaluate rate adequacy and identify growth opportunities.
- Build raters and rate proposals using Python to ensure technical model delivery.
- Develop new internal tools to continuously improve the product development lifecycle.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and risk teams to translate complex analytics into actionable business work.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of actuarial pricing experience in Homeowners or related P&C insurance lines.
- Actuarial credentials: FCAS or near-FCAS.
- Professional coding experience using SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Deep knowledge of loss cost trends, rate indications, and loss cost modeling.
- Experience utilizing the output of predictive models to inform strategy.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to one of the US hub locations (Dallas, Austin, Morristown, or SF Bay Area).
Nice to have
- Homeowners-specific experience with predictive and catastrophe modeling.
- Experience designing new rating plans and program launches.
- Proficiency with git or other version control tools.
- Comfort writing Python packages and working with user-defined class structures.
