Developer Portal & Community Manager (Hardware)

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in the world; hybrid London office listed.

hirify.global creates hirify.global Zero and is developing hirify.global One, a compact ARM-based Linux computer powered by the Rockchip RK3576 SoC.

What you will do

• Own and develop the public hirify.global One Developer Portal, including its wiki and GitHub projects.
• Turn internal engineering context into clear documentation, notes, updates, explanations, and contribution guides.
• Join team calls, track development activity, and maintain a complete view of the project and its subsystems.
• Translate technical discussions into accurate, accessible language and visualize complex topics with flowcharts.
• Moderate community comments, pull requests, and contributions while filtering spam and reducing noise.
• Collect useful community feedback and bring it back to engineering teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise guides, instructions, READMEs, how-tos, or similar materials.
• Basic understanding of hardware, software, and development workflows, including Git, commits, branches, and pull requests.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics simply and extract key points from chaotic discussions.
• Strong verbal communication and close collaboration skills with engineers.
• Ability to distinguish constructive feedback from noise and spam and keep community communication productive.
• Proficiency in Russian and English is required for communication with company departments and the external community.

Nice to have

• Experience in DevRel, technical writing, community operations, or editorial work.
• Experience with documentation, wikis, knowledge bases, or developer portals.
• Understanding of technical communities, open-source projects, and hardware development.
• Experience working across interfaces, electronics, product architecture, and internal development.
