Community Lead (AI)

hirify.global is a public benefit company building open AI-powered molecular modeling tools and a production platform for biology and drug discovery.

What you will do

• Engage daily with scientific and developer communities across Discord, GitHub, and other channels.
• Help users get started with hirify.global models, resolve issues, and succeed with the platform.
• Contribute to open-source models and repositories.
• Create technical content including guides, notebooks, videos, demos, and walkthroughs.
• Run community programs, events, and activations.
• Work with community, product, research, and growth teams to turn feedback into insights and strengthen the ecosystem.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with technical audiences, including scientists, developers, and ML practitioners.
• Experience working with developer or open-source communities through platforms such as Discord, Slack, GitHub, or forums.
• Ability to create technical tutorials, demos, walkthroughs, and posts.
• Empathetic, user-focused approach to solving technical problems.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and respond quickly to community needs.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global open-source models.
• Experience as a developer advocate, community manager, or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with scientific or ML workflows.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
• Presence in relevant communities such as Twitter/X, GitHub, or Discord.
