Technical Author (Instruction Booklets)

What you will do

• Manage the creation of Instruction Booklets across the UK, EMEA, and APAC for the full brand portfolio.
• Draft clear product instructions, create illustrations, and produce final PDFs in InDesign.
• Collaborate with legal, marketing, and technical engineering teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and legislation.
• Coordinate translations for EMEA markets with external providers and regional marketing teams.
• Deliver final assets to vendors, upload completed booklets to internal systems, and maintain warranty cards.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining documentation quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating Instruction Booklets is essential.
• Strong copywriting skills and the ability to explain complex product usage clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in InDesign.
• Strong project management, organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills.
• High attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Knowledge of international compliance standards, especially for the EMEA region, is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with CorelDRAW.
• Engineering background and understanding of electrical appliances.
