TL;DR
Majors Sales Director (SaaS): Building and expanding the strategic customer base in the Bay Area with an accent on full-cycle enterprise sales and consultative engagement. Focus on driving adoption of dbt Cloud Enterprise, optimizing sales processes, and collaborating with product teams to refine the commercial roadmap.
Location: US Remote (Bay Area)
Salary: $300,000 - $375,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle from lead to ongoing utilization for commercial prospects.
- Organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
- Lead and contribute to team projects aimed at developing the sales process.
- Collaborate with the product team to build and maintain the dbt Cloud commercial roadmap.
- Develop deep expertise in SQL, dbt, and commercial data operations.
- Actively participate and engage within the dbt open source community.
Requirements
- 6+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a consultative sale.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders from individual developers up to the CTO.
- Strong organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in the US (Bay Area).
Nice to have
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
- Existing knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
