What you will do

• Build and maintain all elements of a strong compliance oversight program.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into new products during development.
• Oversee the control framework, including building, documenting, and monitoring risk-mitigating controls.
• Conduct compliance-focused testing on high-risk processes and cite regulatory violations.
• Manage external audits and exam processes.
• Oversee the timely implementation of corrective actions and remediation projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in financial industry compliance (Bank, FinTech, or MSB).
• Deep knowledge of US state and federal consumer lending regulations, particularly regarding credit cards.
• Ability to convert legal and regulatory concepts into practical business requirements.
• Proven experience collaborating with internal teams to implement compliance processes.
• Must be based in the United States.
