Compliance Analyst II

Location: Hybrid in United States (hires in Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois for Exempt roles)

Salary: $55,800 - $88,100 a year

What you will do

• Execute testing of product frameworks to validate regulatory compliance as the primary validator.
• Use AI tools to streamline compliance workflows, analyze documents, and automate audits.
• Maintain and monitor MSB and Insurance licenses, manage filings, and respond to state regulators.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate compliance into the platform from day one.
• Develop internal policies reflecting ethical practices and evolving laws.
• Curate knowledge base for customers on industry laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in utility management compliance or related roles
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in multi-family utility management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to learn industry, legal, and regulatory information quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite; ability to handle confidential matters and deadlines autonomously.

Nice to have

• Experience in software, technology, or SaaS industry.
• Knowledge of utility management in multi-family and property management operations.
• Proficiency in compliance software tools like ClickUp or Legiscan.
