What you will do

• Own global AP operations, including vendor and contractor invoice review and payment coordination for US and Kazakhstan entities.
• Manage enterprise billing processes, including invoice generation and usage-based overage billing.
• Monitor accounts receivable, reconcile customer payments, and generate weekly aged AR reports.
• Execute month-end close, prepare journal entries for payroll and accruals, and reconcile key balance sheet accounts.
• Support sales tax compliance and filings across relevant states using tools like Stripe and Anrok.
• Develop and document scalable accounting processes, controls, and systems to reduce manual work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup, SaaS, or tech environment.
• Strong foundation in core accounting operations and disciplined knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience supporting multiple entities and international operations.
• Ability to drive execution independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area for hybrid work.
