Senior Product Engineer (Medtech): Leading technical development of neuromodulation products from early feasibility through market release with an accent on translating clinical needs into design specifications. Focus on driving risk assessment, mitigation, and technical direction for implantable and external neurostimulators.

Location: Onsite in Fridley, Minnesota, USA (minimum 4 days a week)

Salary: $102,400 - $153,600 USD

What you will do

• Lead the technical strategy and development of Neuromodulation products from early feasibility to market release.
• Translate clinical needs and emerging technologies into clear product requirements and hardware technology roadmaps.
• Identify technical risks and lead the development and execution of risk mitigation plans, including DFMEA.
• Establish and oversee design verification plans to ensure technical rigor throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Systems, Marketing, Regulatory) to align on designs and test strategies.
• Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure effective flow-down of requirements and risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing requirements developments and structure.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at the time of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience in Product Risk Assessment and Risk Management (Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA).
• Familiarity with medical device international standards such as ISO 14708-1 or IEC 60601.
• Experience with manufacturing engineering and processes.
• Full product development lifecycle experience from concept to market release.
• Project Management experience.
