What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical and test engineers supporting PCBA testing and process improvement.
• Guide the design, development, and validation of automated PCBA test systems (ICT and functional circuit testing).
• Lead system-level failure analysis on in-process and returned products using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and X-rays.
• Establish and maintain standardized test procedures, calibration, and verification processes for all test stations.
• Partner with contract manufacturing partners to monitor and improve yield, test accuracy, and throughput.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in medical device manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Experience with FDA-regulated environments or ISO 13485 quality systems.
• Demonstrated success in PCBA testing, test system development, and electrical failure analysis.
• Must be based in Orange County, CA.
