Salary: $80,000 USD - $126,500 USD

What you will do

• Lead engineering design and implementation of product changes using DFMEA, DOE, tolerance analysis, and FEA.
• Manage full project lifecycle from system design requirements to large-scale production transition.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and vendors to define specifications and source materials.
• Develop DVPs, coordinate testing, and execute plant trials for validation.
• Provide technical guidance during launches and resolve product issues with quality teams.
• Apply lean tools for continuous improvement projects and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) from accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years product design and development experience, including new product launches and Stage Gate.
• Proven track record delivering innovative products or cost-reduced processes.
• Experience with 3D parametric solid modeling (Solid Edge or SolidWorks), Microsoft Project, and Office suite.
• Cross-functional experience with sourcing, quality, and manufacturing.
• Superior communication and strategic thinking skills; hands-on prototyping.

Nice to have

• M.S. in Engineering (Mechanical).
• SolidWorks certification.
• Experience with extrusions, plastics, injection molding, weather seals, FEA (Ansys), metals processing, DC motors, or building materials.
• Knowledge of applied mechanics and intellectual property interfacing.
