Salary: $267,000 - $356,000 USD

What you will do
- Develop and execute strategic vision for sportsbook product engineering, aligned with overall strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, product, and core engineering to define goals, metrics, and ways of working.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams, fostering innovation, attracting top talent, and building high-performing groups.
- Oversee design and development of innovative, performant customer experiences like personalized betting, live features, and social tools.
- Implement engineering best practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response for operational excellence during peak events.
- Partner with core engineering on architecture evolution, security, compliance, and minimizing downtime for massive traffic spikes.
- Manage budget, communicate progress to stakeholders, and stay ahead of industry trends for competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in software engineering with focus on product engineering and customer value delivery.
- 5+ years leadership in senior roles like Director or VP of Engineering, leading geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, API design, Lean/Agile, and Continuous Delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver bi-weekly increments, data-driven decisions, and align engineering with business metrics.
- Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration; business acumen; thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing diverse offices, enhancing culture, inclusion, and strategic office plans.
