Remote Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (NY Licensed) (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Remote, New York; New York MD licensure required. The role is fully virtual from home with periodic in-person retreats.

Salary: Starting annual salary of $250,000, prorated to $125,000 for 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week).

What you will do

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication treatment plans, and ongoing medication management for children and teens.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary InStride care team, families, pediatricians, and outpatient psychiatrists.
• Participate in clinical team meetings focused on patient care, collaboration, and education.
• Schedule patients as indicated and complete timely, thorough clinical documentation.
• Provide feedback on workflow improvements and contribute ideas for program growth and innovation.

Requirements

• New York MD licensure appropriate to the clinical discipline; openness to obtaining additional state licenses as care expands.
• Expertise in medication management for children and teens experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD.
• Commitment to compassionate and thoughtful patient treatment.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a care team while also working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, and timely documentation practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, use basic computer tools, and adapt to new technologies.
