Collaborative Physician (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Fully remote, Virginia; active and unrestricted Virginia medical license required

Salary: $2,000–$2,500 USD per month

What you will do

• Provide clinical collaboration to up to four psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners delivering pediatric mental health care.
• Assess clinical decision-making and support high standards of patient care.
• Conduct regular patient chart reviews in accordance with Virginia state requirements.
• Provide virtual consultations when clinical questions or complex cases arise.
• Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to refine workflows and implement best practices.

Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist with an active, unrestricted Virginia medical license in good standing; MD or DO.
• At least 5 years of collaborative clinical experience, preferably involving CRNP collaboration.
• Understanding of child and adolescent psychiatric presentations and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Ability to work in a fully remote, telehealth, async-first environment and respond to urgent clinical consultations promptly.
• Own phone, computer, and high-speed internet connection.
• Availability for approximately 2–5 hours per month for chart reviews and consultations.

Nice to have

• Experience with children, adolescents, or young adults in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with collaborative practice agreements and multi-state telehealth regulations.
• Experience with integrated or interdisciplinary care models.
• Experience in a high-growth or startup healthcare environment.
• Comfort with EMR systems and async clinical communication tools.
