Salary: $220,000 - $250,000

What you will do

• Partner with C-suite and senior leadership to provide strategic legal guidance and risk analysis on key initiatives.
• Structure and advise on complex commercial arrangements, including distribution, licensing, and strategic transactions.
• Manage the internal legal team, setting priorities, allocating resources, and elevating performance.
• Lead the development and implementation of scalable legal frameworks and policies across the organization.
• Oversee dispute resolution strategies, including pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement approaches.
• Leverage AI-powered legal tools and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school, admitted and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preferably NY).
• 8 to 15 years of experience, featuring a mix of reputable entertainment law firms and in-house experience.
• Deep understanding of IP, media, technology, and music/entertainment law.
• Proven ability to operate at a strategic level and influence business outcomes.
• Experience managing legal teams and partnering with outside counsel.
• Excellent communication and writing skills to translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance.
