What you will do

  • Build and grow the merchant network through prospecting, pitching, and closing new businesses.
  • Perform daily field visits, attend local events, and nurture community relationships.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to negotiation and closing.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Identify untapped local market opportunities aligned with customer demand.
  • Track activity and performance metrics using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience.
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology and conversion optimization.
  • Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be based in or able to cover the Sacramento, CA area with 70-80% travel.
