TL;DR
Senior Digital Design Engineer (Hardware): Developing high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits and SoC devices with an accent on digital signal processing blocks and control logic. Focus on bringing digital subsystems from concept to production silicon and optimizing interaction between digital and analog circuitry.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in Austin (TX), Greensboro (NC), or Chandler (AZ)

What you will do
- Design and implement digital subsystems and IP blocks for mixed-signal ICs from architecture through tape-out.
- Develop RTL designs using Verilog and integrate them into larger SoC environments.
- Design and verify DSP, control, and data-path logic, including calibration and monitoring state machines.
- Perform functional and integration verification, supporting UVM-based verification teams.
- Contribute to behavioral and system modeling of digital and mixed-signal systems.
- Support post-silicon validation, characterization, and production test, including lab bring-up and silicon debug.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant digital IC design experience: 5+ years for Bachelor's, 3+ for Master's, or PhD.
- Strong working knowledge of Verilog RTL design and the digital design flow (microarchitecture, timing constraints, synthesis).
- Experience designing complex state machines and control logic.
- Familiarity with CMOS VLSI design fundamentals.
- Must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license; the company is unable to sponsor export licenses.
Nice to have
- Expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), including FIR and IIR filters.
- Familiarity with ARM-based SoCs, microprocessor subsystems, and peripherals.
- Experience with low-power and high-performance ASIC design techniques.
- Proficiency with MATLAB or Simulink for modeling and algorithm development.
- Experience with back-end flows, including synthesis and place & route.
