Salary: $160,400 – $237,320 per annum

What you will do
- Design and implement micro-architecture and RTL for complex power management integrated circuits.
- Partner with system and chip architects to create industrial-quality SoC implementations.
- Manage the full design cycle from micro-architecture documentation and RTL coding to timing specifications and silicon bring-up.
- Collaborate with design verification teams to review test plans and execute block tests in the lab.
- Lead the establishment of the San Diego design center, shaping strategy, methodology, and technical culture.
- Mentor and supervise junior digital design engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in EE/CS with 10-15+ years of experience, or Master's/PhD with 5-10+ years.
- Expertise in SystemVerilog RTL coding and high-speed, multiple clock domain designs.
- Deep knowledge of PCIe and CXL protocols, and SoC interfaces such as AXI, DDR, and Ethernet.
- Experience with synthesis, static-timing closure, and formal verification using SVA assertions.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
- Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA.
Nice to have
- Experience in designing high-speed (>1 GHz) embedded processor SoC products.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and UNIX shell.
