TL;DR

Enterprise Sales Director (Software): Building and expanding the enterprise customer base throughout the Southeast US region with an accent on consultative selling and technical alignment. Focus on owning the full sales cycle, organizing POC implementations for dbt Cloud, and collaborating with product teams on the commercial roadmap.

Location: Remote (US Southeast)

Salary: $260,000 - $325,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to ongoing utilization for commercial prospects.
  • Coordinate and organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
  • Contribute to team projects aimed at optimizing the overall sales process.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop and maintain the commercial roadmap for dbt Cloud.
  • Develop deep expertise in SQL, dbt, and commercial data operations.
  • Engage actively with the dbt open source community.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a record of exceeding annual targets.
  • Must be based in the US (Southeast region).
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into consultative sales strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders from developers up to CTOs.
  • Organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles with multiple client teams.
  • Experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
  • Direct knowledge or experience working with dbt.
