AI & Automations Builder (HR)

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or fully remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 USD annual salary or $95,000–$130,000 CAD, plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, test, maintain, and document AI agents and automated workflows across Workday, ADP, and learning technology platforms.
• Own cross-platform automation and agent workflows from opportunity identification through delivery and handoff.
• Build integrations, data flows, and solutions for HR processes that span multiple platforms or lack a defined system owner.
• Partner with HR Technology, HR Operations, Business HR, Centers of Excellence, and IT Application Engineering to identify and deliver automation opportunities.
• Build automated data pipelines that improve people analytics, reporting quality, timeliness, and self-service access.
• Share reusable agent patterns, workflow components, and lessons learned with enterprise AI Engineering and the AI Enablement community.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a software, automation, or solutions engineer, including production automated workflows or AI-powered agents.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
• Daily proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Zapier, n8n, or similar tools.
• Experience with integration design and enterprise system configuration across multiple platforms.
• Ability to own ambiguous cross-platform problems and document solutions for support, auditing, and knowledge transfer.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Workday, ADP, Degreed, Training Orchestra, Ethena, or Donut.
• Experience with AI and LLM tools or agent frameworks such as Claude SDK, LangChain, or MCP.
• Exposure to Workday Studio, EIBs, or Workday Extend.
• Experience with Workday Prism, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar people analytics tools.
