Director, People Operations

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $163,000–$224,070 for Zone 3, with geographic-zone ranges up to $263,670 and a 15% bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead the global People Operations operating model across onboarding, offboarding, employee data, documentation, support, contingent workforce processes, and international operations.
• Manage People Operations and Talent Acquisition Operations teams, establishing service standards, escalation paths, operating rhythms, and accountability.
• Own operational readiness for compliance workflows, employment agreements, audits, immigration and mobility processes, accommodations, background checks, and other high-risk lifecycle activities.
• Build the Talent Acquisition Operations model across recruiting intake, approvals, job postings, interview coordination, candidate communications, offers, and reporting.
• Partner on Greenhouse workflows, People systems, data governance, automation, AI, metrics, and integrated roadmap execution.
• Lead cross-functional change with HR, Recruiting, Finance, Legal, IT, Payroll, Workplace, Communications, and external vendors.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Talent Operations, shared services, or a comparable People function, including 5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience scaling global People Operations or Talent Acquisition Operations models across organizations of different sizes.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle operations, recruiting operations, HR compliance, employee data, HR systems, recruiting systems, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience with Greenhouse or an equivalent recruiting system, including workflows, approvals, reporting, integrations, or process improvement.
• Experience improving operational controls, documentation, self-service, service delivery, data quality, integrations, and process consistency at scale.
• Strong program management, change leadership, executive communication, judgment, prioritization, and operational metrics skills.
