What you will do

• Evaluate and document business processes, create and sign off calc proformas and test grids.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and investigate calculation discrepancies.
• Communicate designs and changes to stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
• Build training materials and act as liaison between stakeholders, users, and technical teams.
• Lead pensions administration calculation implementations and projects, oversee transformations.
• Produce presentations, enable risk management, provide technical advice, and conduct post-implementation analysis.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of UK Defined Benefit and UK Defined Contribution Pensions.
• Minimum three years’ experience in calculation-based theory and formula development.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior colleagues and their workload.
• Track record of calculation solutions implementation and transformation.
• Strong Excel skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Pragmatic, collaborative, dynamic, and organised with commercial outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering calculations as a Calculation analyst.
• Managing stakeholders to influence solutions.
• Defining clarity from ambiguity and creating detailed reports/presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience in Pensions Administration environment and modern systems.
