What you will do

• Lead and oversee pension administration and operational activities to ensure service delivery standards.
• Manage relationships with third-party administrators and service providers, monitoring performance and resolving issues.
• Ensure all operational processes comply with UK pensions legislation, regulatory expectations, and internal policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, controls, and member experience.
• Oversee operational risk management, including incident handling and reporting.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for colleagues within the operations function.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of UK pension scheme operations and administration models.
• Understanding of regulatory, governance, and risk requirements within the pensions sector.
• Experience in managing operational teams and third-party service providers.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and controls in a practical context.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence effectively.
• Analytical capability to interpret management information and identify trends or risks.
