What you will do

• Lead and develop the governance framework to ensure full compliance with UK regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Manage key processes including the production of annual reports, accounts, audits, and mandatory reporting.
• Provide secretarial services to Trustee Boards, including the preparation of agendas, meeting papers, and minutes.
• Support trustee effectiveness through targeted training, policy updates, and governance planning.
• Manage the schemes' risk management framework, overseeing incidents and preparing reports for Trustee committees and boards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for governance and risk matters with external advisers and service providers.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of UK occupational pension schemes and the associated regulatory/legislative environment.
• Expertise in UK governance requirements, risk management standards, and internal control systems.
• Management level experience in pensions governance and risk management.
• Proven experience in Trustee secretariat duties and the ability to present credibly to Board-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Must be based in or able to work in Reading, UK
