What you will do

• Lead and participate in daily maintenance activities, including reactive repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections.
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage spare parts organization, maintenance supplies, and CMMS documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
• Partner with production and operations teams to support equipment upgrades and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Cranford, NJ
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CMMS systems for work orders and equipment documentation.
• Understanding of OSHA, GMP, SQF, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a hands-on supervisory capacity.

Nice to have

• Technical certification, trade school, or associate degree.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies like vibration analysis or thermography.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
