What you will do

• Own the integrity of operational MI by validating accuracy and maintaining consistent definitions.
• Develop and refine Power BI reports and dashboards to provide decision-ready reporting for operational leaders.
• Investigate and resolve MI anomalies and maintain documentation for auditability and team resilience.
• Partner with Data Engineering to resolve data quality issues and optimize hand-offs between pipelines and outputs.
• Uphold MI governance standards, including KPI definitions and calculation logic, to reduce metric drift.
• Identify and implement improvements to simplify, standardize, and strengthen reporting performance.

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering operational MI within a team-based function.
• Proficiency in Power BI (data models, DAX, report maintenance) and strong SQL for validation and reconciliation.
• Proven ability to collaborate with data specialists and operational leaders to maintain shared standards.
• Ability to remain calm and dependable in business-critical BAU environments.
• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in York

Nice to have

• Operational, Service, or Contact Centre MI experience.
• Experience partnering with central data teams or Data Engineering.
• Familiarity with MI governance or performance management frameworks.
