What you will do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with divisional underwriters
• Provide ad-hoc analytics for underwriting portfolio analysis and reporting to senior executives
• Conduct pre-underwriting analysis using third-party catastrophe models and in-house tools
• Present results and ideas to senior stakeholders and underwriting teams
• Collaborate with colleagues in other hirify.global offices, portfolio analytics team, outsourcing partners, and model vendors
• Assist in team projects like view of risk development and internal/external reporting to Lloyds and PRA

Requirements

• Proven catastrophe modelling or aggregation management experience in the London market, strong understanding of industry-standard models (Verisk preferred)
• Strong appetite to think creatively, challenge modelling assumptions and processes
• Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of SQL and/or Python
• Proven experience with catastrophe management best practices and portfolio-level aggregation techniques
• Experience building and maintaining successful relationships with internal and external contacts
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
