What you will do
- Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, lead technical discovery, and define evaluation plans.
- Design and deliver tailored technical demos for both engineering and executive audiences.
- Own the end-to-end technical POC process, including scope definition, architecture, and production handoff.
- Develop solution designs that optimize for latency, throughput, cost, reliability, and security.
- Create high-quality enablement assets like reference architectures, playbooks, and FAQs.
- Provide high-signal feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on customer objections and market gaps.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, with 2+ years specifically in pre-sales.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, GPU-based systems, and HPC environments.
- Deep understanding of training, fine-tuning, and inference for open-source LLMs.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for building API prototypes.
- Experience with Kubernetes, SLURM, Docker, and IaC tools like Ansible.
- Must be based in North America (Remote) or San Francisco, CA
Nice to have
- Experience selling or supporting AI infrastructure products (compute, orchestration, observability).
- Expertise in performance benchmarking and cost modeling for GenAI systems.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
