TL;DR

Director, Compensation (Healthcare): Overseeing the strategy, design, and execution of compensation and equity-based programs for a diverse healthcare team with an accent on scaling core offerings and aligning pay with business results. Focus on managing executive compensation, leading Compensation Committee activities, and driving data-driven cost modeling.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: $161,410 - $225,000 + bonus + equity

What you will do

  • Set and execute the global compensation strategy to attract and retain talent across all functions.
  • Develop and implement the equity strategy and adapt the program based on market conditions.
  • Lead base and variable pay processes, merit cycles, and clinical compensation plans.
  • Manage Compensation Committee activities and provide updates to the Board.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and counsel to HRBPs and executives on pay decisions and job evaluations.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and external consultants to design and communicate executive compensation plans.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience in compensation.
  • 7+ years of experience leading Compensation or Total Rewards teams in competitive talent markets.
  • Experience with public companies, Board/Compensation Committee, and ownership of equity programs.
  • Expertise in executive compensation, base pay, variable pay, and data-driven cost modeling.
  • Advanced quantitative skills, including expert-level Excel (Workday preferred).
  • Must be based in the United States.

  • Experience with Clinical Compensation Programs.
