What you will do
- Coach frontline and junior managers on employee relations, performance management, and day-to-day people issues.
- Review and approve corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
- Lead employee investigations, gather documentation, and support legal responses to employment claims.
- Coordinate FMLA, LOA, and accommodation requests in partnership with external vendors.
- Manage new hire onboarding and conduct exit interviews for hourly employees to identify retention trends.
- Support the annual performance review cycle, calibration sessions, and goal-setting processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of HR Business Partner or generalist experience supporting hourly employee populations.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience coaching new and junior managers independently.
- Must be based in St. Louis, MO (Chesterfield).
