What you will do
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with influential consultants across national and regional firms in assigned territories.
- Expand networks by developing new relationships with senior consultants and industry leaders, establishing partnership agreements.
- Partner with Sales RVPs on territory strategies, facilitate introductions to prospects, and support opportunities with consultant insights.
- Educate consultants on products and vision, facilitate meetings, and deliver targeted messaging with Sales and Marketing.
- Support Client Success on renewals and upsells where consultant relationships are critical, addressing concerns proactively.
- Monitor industry trends, share insights with cross-functional teams, and analyze feedback to inform strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- 7+ years client-facing experience in health and benefits (carrier, health tech, consulting, brokerage)
- Direct experience at consulting or brokerage firm in producer, client-facing, account management, or strategy role
- Proven ability to influence consultant recommendations and drive preference for solutions
- Experience in consultative sales or advisory engagements, uncovering needs and co-creating solutions
- Strong relationship management, reporting with Excel/Google Sheets and CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
- Executive presence, communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, ability to travel 30-40%
