What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Supervise core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger.
• Design and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, tracking performance and analyzing variances.
• Manage strict adherence to Philippine tax laws and regulatory requirements (BIR, PEZA, and SEC).
• Manage, coach, and evaluate the accounting and admin team to foster a culture of accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA certification.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Must be based in the Philippines to manage local regulatory and tax filings.
• In-depth knowledge of BIR and PEZA regulations and experience interacting with external examiners.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and QuickBooks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Public Accounting.
• Experience within the IT or PEZA-registered industry.
