Software Engineer II (React/GraphQL)

Location: Fully remote

Salary: $110,000–$165,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Own the design, planning, execution, and testing of medium-to-large features.
• Build, maintain, refactor, and debug scalable web applications using React, GraphQL, and related technologies.
• Deliver reliable, high-performance software while limiting regressions and improving maintainability.
• Translate customer requests and workflows into effective product functionality in collaboration with Product and Customer Success.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities across the development process and codebase.
• Experiment with and apply AI tools and workflows to accelerate development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience and 4+ years of experience designing web applications.
• Expertise in React and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based and web technologies, responsive web design, user behavior, and software design patterns.
• Experience building, optimizing, and scaling web applications based on customer and internal feedback.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, organizational, and prioritization skills, with close attention to quality and detail.
• Fluency with AI tools and workflows, applying sound judgment to their practical use; openness to on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience developing B2B web applications or working in the SaaS industry.
• PHP and SQL experience.
• NodeJS/NestJS experience.
• Angular expertise.
• Experience working in highly collaborative and rapidly changing environments.
