Business Developer (Italian Market): Identify and match Italian companies with tech freelancers to scale their business by reducing costs and boosting productivity with an accent on building client relationships and expanding market presence. Focus on executing account-based strategies, managing client portfolios, and driving growth through KPIs and sales forecasts.
Location: Hybrid in Madrid, based at Headquarters in downtown Madrid (Calle Zurbano)
Salary: €38,000–€60,000 OTE gross annual (fixed €27,000–€40,000 + quarterly bonus + uncapped commissions)

What you will do
- Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of Italian clients, focusing on conversion, retention, and repeat usage.
- Understand client pain points and goals, communicating value proposition to decision-makers and technical teams.
- Execute account-based strategies to uncover opportunities and ensure successful delivery of freelance teams.
- Own and report KPIs, client pipeline, account plans, and sales forecasts weekly and monthly.
- Collaborate with Talent and Ops teams for client success.
Requirements
- Fluent in Italian (native or bilingual), English, and Spanish
- 2–7 years in business development, client management, tech sales, or similar in startup/tech ecosystem
- Understand Italian business culture and engage with startups/large corporations
- Strong farming/hunting skills, results-oriented, tech-savvy, organized, and hands-on
- Based at Headquarters in downtown Madrid
