TL;DR

People Partner: Oversee day-to-day People operations in Barcelona, ensure compliance with Spanish labor laws, and manage employee lifecycle processes with an accent on local implementation of global policies and standards. Focus on culture and engagement initiatives, organizational risk detection, and partnering with managers on performance and employee relations.

Location: Hybrid in Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain with strong in-office presence (preferably 3 days per week)

What you will do

• Ensure People policies, documentation, and processes comply with Spanish labor laws and company standards; advise managers and escalate issues.
• Coordinate employee lifecycle events including onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, promotions, and exits.
• Drive local culture and in-office engagement initiatives to reinforce values and team cohesion.
• Gather feedback from employees and managers, detect risks, and synthesize insights for leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years in HR, People Partner, or HRBP roles within Spain
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor requirements and employee lifecycle processes
• Experience in performance support, documentation, and employee relations
• Strong judgment, discretion, and execution in a startup environment
• Fluency in Spanish and English
