What you will do

• Define and execute go-to-market strategy for Japan, including market analysis and sales pipeline management.
• Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Own key account relationships, drive expansion, and ensure long-term client value.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for market entry and feedback.
• Track and report on sales performance, pipeline health, and business metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years in business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.
• Deep understanding of the Japan market and local business culture.
• Fluent Japanese and English.
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and ability to work independently.
• Experience managing enterprise clients and scaling markets in growth-stage environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, tech, SaaS, or digital commerce industries.
• Experience launching or scaling business operations in Japan.
• Familiarity with DTC, monetization, or platform-based products.
