Compensation: $84K – $108K

What you will do

• Ship product features end-to-end, from database schema to UI components for underwriter interactions with AI.
• Architect scalable solutions for complex loan file data with high availability and low latency.
• Integrate AI services into the SaaS platform, enabling seamless handoffs between ML models and user applications.
• Drive engineering culture improvements through development practices and AI tools for velocity and stability.

Requirements

• 4+ years software engineering experience shipping production code.
• Strong backend experience with Go (preferred), Java, C++, concurrency, data modeling, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript or similar for building complex UIs.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, S3), Docker containerization.
• Project ownership and responsibility for outcomes.

Nice to have

• Python experience in data/ML (pandas, numpy).
• Background in Fintech, Mortgage Tech, or workflow automation.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi) or DevOps practices.
