Salary: $150,000–$185,000 (benchmarked for New York)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and ship full-stack features from concept to production.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate user needs into reliable software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while upholding high engineering standards.
• Make sound technical decisions and weigh architectural tradeoffs.
• Improve internal tooling, testing, and observability to increase team velocity.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to system design initiatives (senior level).

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• 3+ years (mid) or 6+ years (senior) of experience building production web applications.
• Deep fluency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend.
• Solid fundamentals in data modeling, API design, and cloud deployment.
• Experience in early-stage or fast-scaling startup environments.
• Bias for action and ability to own features end-to-end without hand-holding.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data-intensive products or recommendation/matching systems.
• Experience with AI/ML-backed features.
• Interest in workforce development and economic mobility.
