National Account Manager (Crop Protection): Manage nominated national distributor accounts and deliver agreed US$ gross profit targets through strategic product portfolio management with an accent on building long-term partnerships and seasonal forecasting. Focus on developing 1- and 3-year strategic account plans, leading negotiations with senior decision-makers, and providing market intelligence to shape commercial strategy.

Location: Berkshire, UK. Willingness to travel extensively during season and hold face-to-face engagement.

What you will do

  • Own and deliver annual US$ gross profit targets for assigned accounts
  • Develop 1- and 3-year strategic account plans aligned to mutual growth
  • Build trusted partnerships with customer buying teams, regional managers, technical teams, and key agronomists
  • Lead seasonal forecasting, stock monitoring, and pricing communication
  • Act as commercial expert within a defined Crop Team and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Provide market intelligence, manage relationships with 50–100 key influencers, and hold regular meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in UK agrochemical / crop protection sector
  • Proven track record in professional account management
  • Strong commercial acumen to maximise mutual profit
  • Confident negotiator and presenter for senior, commercial, and technical audiences
  • Highly organised with strong forecasting and planning capability
  • CRM and IT proficient (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce)
  • Willingness to travel extensively during season
