What you will do
- Manage software renewal process for assigned accounts, negotiate terms, and ensure customer retention.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop account plans, monitor usage and health metrics, and provide accurate sales forecasts using CRM tools.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and collaborate on sales strategies for higher education, K-12, and enterprise sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers as the primary point of contact.
Requirements
- 5+ years in sales or account management, ideally SaaS, with proven quota exceedance
- Strong relationship building and ability to articulate complex software value simply.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity stacks.
- Self-motivated, outcome-oriented with independence to manage territory.
- Comfortable traveling up to 25% for partners and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
