What you will do

• Serve as a primary legal advisor for corporate brand and integrated marketing teams in the US.
• Advise on all aspects of corporate brand marketing, including paid media, digital design, partnerships, and social media.
• Review marketing claims and copy, and develop/manage associated legal disclosures.
• Draft and negotiate media buys and marketing agreements, including sponsorships and talent agreements.
• Help build and scale processes for marketing review and brand governance.
• Monitor state and federal marketing, advertising, and finance developments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience with federal, state, and finance laws and regulations relating to marketing and advertising.
• Experience with drafting marketing claims, partnerships, and contracts.
• Knowledge of consent orders relating to marketing and finance.
• 5+ years’ post qualification experience in a leading law firm, financial institution, or advertising/media agency.
• Team player with commercial judgment and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
