Salary: $121,900 - $192,700 a year

What you will do

• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and implement actionable product and contract changes
• Build centralized documentation and scalable processes like playbooks for Product and Engineering teams
• Embed legal review into the product development lifecycle and partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Security, and Go-to-Market teams
• Provide risk-based advice to senior management and escalate material risks
• Collaborate with Contracts team on product terms and manage external law firms

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school and admitted to practice in good standing
• 5–7 years regulatory compliance experience, including in-house
• Experience advising consumer-facing products, user flows, communications, and payments
• Ability to partner with business leaders, own complex areas, and operate in ambiguous environments
• Strong judgment to escalate or resolve issues independently

Nice to have

• Experience in technology/SaaS or high-growth environments
• Knowledge of multifamily housing, property management, or tenant services
• Familiarity with privacy, communications (SMS/email), and high-volume platforms
