TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Cybersecurity): Building the top of the sales funnel and defining outbound go-to-market motions for an open source security infrastructure stack with an accent on lead qualification and outbound prospecting. Focus on identifying high-quality meetings for Account Executives and experimenting with messaging to refine the ICP.

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco

Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Qualify leads and book high-quality meetings for Account Executives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, customer pain points, and use cases.
  • Experiment with messaging, channels, and ICPs to define scalable motions.
  • Provide direct market feedback to shape sales motion and positioning.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a quota-driven role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High urgency, grit, and a coachable mindset.
  • Comfortable with rejection and motivated by goals and competition.
  • Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate to work onsite.

Nice to have

  • Prior SDR/BDR experience at a SaaS company.
  • Experience selling to developers or technical buyers.
  • Competitive sports background.
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup or fast-paced environment.
